On behalf of the Overseas Vietnamese Evangelical Church (OVEC), we warmly welcome you to the Overseas Vietnamese Evangelical Church (OVEC) 4th General Conference — Hội Đồng OVEC Lần Thứ IV.
This year, we gather aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship Firenze from June 21 to June 26, 2026, sailing together in fellowship, worship, and the Word of God. Our theme, "Chăm Xem Đấng Christ" (Focus on Christ), calls us to center our hearts and minds on our Lord Jesus Christ as we worship, learn, and grow together as a community of faith.
We anticipate over 300 brothers and sisters joining us from congregations across the United States and overseas. We pray this conference will be a time of spiritual renewal, deep fellowship, and lasting memories.

I. CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:
Step 1 - Contact Your Registration Specialist (RS)
To register, please contact your assigned Registration Specialist (RS).
Your RS will forward your information to our Personal Vacation Planner.

You must still notify your RS after self-booking and pay the $25 deposit.

Initial Deposit: $25 per person (paid through your RS)
Total Deposit Required: $150 per guest
Remaining Deposit ($125/person): Was due by end of February 2026
Final Payment: April 8, 2026 (auto-charged to credit card on file)

Option 2: Motel 6 Fountain Valley
Rate: $98 per night
Note: Guests must book directly on their own.

VII. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q1: How do I register for the conference?
A: There is no general online cruise booking. You must contact your assigned Registration Specialist (RS). Your RS will coordinate with our Personal Vacation Planner, Cô Heather Peavey, to complete your booking. If you do not know your RS, contact us at registration@ovecsj.org.
Q2: Can I book the cruise directly?
A: Yes. You may call Mrs. Heather Peavey directly at 1-800-819-3902, Extension 85308, during her office hours (Mon–Thu: 9 AM–6 PM, Fri: 9 AM–7 PM, Sat: 12–4 PM) and provide the group booking code: JV79S6.
You must still notify your RS and pay the $25 deposit.
Q3: What is the registration deadline?
A: The final payment deadline is April 8, 2026.
Your credit card on file will be automatically charged on that date.
** Registrations after this date will still be accepted but will not receive pre-printed name badges.
Q4: How much does it cost?

Q5: What documents do I need to board the ship?
A: You will need a valid U.S. Passport or government-issued photo ID, your cruise booking confirmation, and your OVEC Conference name badge. International guests should ensure their travel documents are valid for the duration of the cruise.
Q6: Is there transportation from Northern California?
A: Yes. Xe Đò Hoàng is offering round-trip bus service from San Jose (ABC Hương Lan) departing at 6:00 AM on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The fare is $120 per person round-trip, including drop-off at the cruise terminal. A minimum of 40–50 passengers is required. Contact Chị Hoàng Dung to reserve.
Q7: Is there airport pickup available?
A: Yes. Anh Sunny Nguyễn is coordinating airport pickups for Friday and Saturday (June 19–20). Email Anh Sunny by May 15, 2026 with your flight details.
Q8: Are there hotel options before the cruise?
A: Yes. Two options are available in the Orange County area:
1. The Hotel Huntington Beach - $145/night
(10 rooms reserved, book before June 19, 2026)
2. Motel 6 Fountain Valley - $98/night
(book directly on your own)
Q9: Will there be programs for children and youth?
A: Yes. Ban Thanh Niên (Youth Program) is led by Isaiah,
and Ban Thiếu Nhi (Children's Program) is being organized.
Details will be posted as they are finalized.
Q10: What is the conference theme song?
A: The theme is "Chăm Xem Đấng Christ" (Focus on Christ).
The official theme song was composed by Nhạc Sĩ Diệu Lê. Sound tracks will be distributed to all churches for practice before the conference.
Q11: Will there be medical assistance on board?
A: Yes. Ban Y Tế (Medical Committee) will be present throughout the conference. Anh Hiền Long and Chị Mai Lê are your medical contacts. Please bring all personal medications.
Q12: I registered late. Will I still get a name badge?
A: Attendees who register after the April 8 deadline will not receive pre-printed name badges. Badges will be made upon boarding the ship. Please contact registration@ovecsj.org for your specific situation.
Q13: How do I get my room assignment?
A: Room assignments are managed through your RS and Mrs. Heather Peavey. Your room information will be included in your welcome envelope upon boarding.
Q14: Are all my meals included in my cruise fare?
A: You could eat three amazing meals a day - plus snacks and more - All included! However, they do have some great onboard specialty restaurants you'll want to visit at your own expense. You'll drink non-bottled water, lemonade, iced tea, hot chocolate and some coffees and teas for free also.
